2. Garlic and onion

3. Apple seeds and fruit pits

4. Sugar-free candy
Sugar-free candy contains sugar xylitol that causes liver damage and hypoglycemia in dogs and birds. Thus, candy is not ideal for your pets.
Avocado trees together with its parts have persin that is a fungicidal toxin. The toxin causes cardiac arrest in birds. A bird starts developing respiratory distress 12 hours after ingestion and the pet can die within two or three days. The most susceptible birds are budgies and canaries.

7. High-sugar foods, high-sodium, and high-fat foods
These foods are not scientifically toxic, but diets with high concentrations of sugar, salt and fat are known to cause critical health issues to birds. For your pets to be on the safe side, avoid giving them these foods.
8. Certain fruits
It is okay to feed your pets with peppers, potatoes, eggplant, and tomatoes. However, the plants themselves belong to the nightshade family, which are very toxic to birds if they feed on them. Rhubarb plant leaves contain oxalate crystals that may cause kidney problems.
Milk and dairy products contain lactose, which some birds cannot digest. It can also cause birds to develop diarrhea. Although not all dairy products contain lactose.
